Camica Edwards Avorgbedor is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences #17768. Her clinical work with Auburn Davis DBT clients is enhanced with over 25 years of experience in the field of education working with children and their families as a teacher and school counselor. She came into the mental health field with the intent and calling to “Encourage, Edify, Equip, and Empower”. Camica’s motto is Change Can Happen and she is willing and able to be a catalyst for every client. Umoja means Unity in Swahili and her only desire is to walk alongside those seeking Oneness; that is, to close the gap between who they are and who they want to be. She has a heart for diverse, marginalized clients, those seeking symptom-relief from trauma-based wounds, and individuals desiring help with emotional challenges including intra- and interpersonal relationships.
